Backpack Buddies is now part of the
Hunger Response Team of Sterling (HRTS)

Why was HRTS created?

To help better support Backpack Buddies to receive access to potential grants and corporate matching programs we are unable to apply for as a religious institution.

In the future, HRTS hopes to grow and support additional outreach programs in Loudoun County.

Will Backpack Buddies still pack at St. Matthews?

Yes! Packing will still take place on Tuesdays at noon in the Classrooms on the hill.

How do I support Backpack Buddies?

Visit the HRTS website and choose to make a one-time or recurring donation to sponsor a child for a week, month, or the entire school year.
