Help us feed 250 school children in Chapoteau, Haiti

It costs $50 a day to feed every child at
St. Mathieu's School

Every cent raised during this Benefit Concert & BBQ will go to feeding these children for the school year. The St. Mathieu's school's prior food sponsor discontinued sponsorship several years ago and left them with nothing. For many of these kids, their school meal is the only one they get during the day.

In recent history, the people of Haiti have suffered more than most. Earthquakes, hurricanes, famine, the COVID-19 pandemic, and instability in the country. Things are dire, especially for children. Many support organizations have left Haiti due to the instability, pushing kids who were on the brink before over the edge into starvation.

Where better for St. Matthew's and the Sterling, VA community to reach out into the world and live out our mission To Know and Share God's Love than a school in Chapoteau, Haiti?

St. Matthew’s has a long history of feeding those in need through our Celebration Garden, Backpack Buddies Program, Holiday Food Drives, and regular support for LINK Food Pantry. Feeding 250 school children in Haiti is a perfect extension of our feeding those in need out in the world.
